Marque Garraux workshop July 11-17, 2025
Marque will be returning to Romania this summer! This time we will continue our ashtanga
intensive weekend in the mountains of Pestera, Brasov with 4 days of mysore practice in
Bucharest.
Join us for a full week of inspiring practice with a long time dedicated practitioner and senior
traditional ashtanga yoga teacher, authorised level 2 by Paramaguru Sharath Jois.

Friday 11.07
18:00-20:00 Workshop Cracking the Code of the Mind
This session is aimed to help take the eager aspirants of yoga off of their mats and into a
deep group discussion. We will talk about the nature of the mind, our thoughts, perceptions
of good and bad, the seen world around us and how it creates the obstacles that keep us in
a comfortable state of delusion.
Saturday 12.07
7:30-9:30 Morning Mysore
10:30-13:30 Workshop Cracking the Code of the Body part 1
Memorizing anatomical terms is sadly not enough to really understand anatomy. Here we
will view the body and its sometimes intelligent and sometimes flawed designs. We will learn
how to view, discuss, and move the body in ways that will increase both strength and
mobility. This workshop will contain strength and mobility drills that students are encouraged
to participate in and also film for later use.
Sunday 13.07
7:00-9:00 Morning Mysore (or Led tbc)
10:15-13:15 Workshop Cracking the Code of the Body part 2
This asana clinic will take the larger concepts from part 1 and will apply them to the asanas
and vinyasas of the 1st, 2nd and even 3rd series. In addition to moving our bodies with our
own strength we will also explore how and when to assist and to be assisted.
Location for the week end intensive: shala in Pestera, Brasov.
The Intensive week end shall be followed by a 4 mysore days in Bucharest
Monday 14.07 to Thursday 17.07 Mysore practice in Bucharest, starting from 6:30
(exact starting hour and number of batches and also the shala in Bucharest tbd pending the
number of participants).
