About Susanna
Susanna started to practice Ashtanga Yoga in 1993 and teaching it in 1997. She made her first journeys to Mysore in 1995 and 1996 and, since 2003, has returned yearly to KPJAYI , now Sharath Yoga Centre. In 2009 and 2014, she was invited as Senior Teacher to
Sharathji’s special courses for teachers.
She has been certified to teach Advanced A series by Sharath Yoga Centre in the person of Shruthi Jois, during her last trip in Mysore, in February 2025 exactly after 30 years from her first visit. She is also authorised to teach the Active Series, Sharathji’s last gift to the yoga community.
She had the honour to host Guruji, Sri K.Pattabhi Jois; his daughter, Saraswathi, and his grandson R.Sharath Jois multiple times, in Copenhagen and in Rome.
Susanna studied Sanskrit at the University of Copenhagen and continues studying it, together with Chanting and Indian Philosophy Studies, when in Mysore. 
Susanna travels all over Italy and Europe teaching the Ashtanga Yoga method and spreading her beloved teacher’ s message about the Yoga.
